Forest canopy and summit structures can contribute to a surface model, so the close numerical match does not establish a bare-earth or antenna-height measurement.
The local-relief view subtracts the lowest sampled point in this section: 1227.4 meters at 7.032500° latitude, 80.780278° longitude. This produces about 1,296 meters of relief within the stated boundary. It is not a universal mountain base, a route’s total ascent, or topographic prominence.
