A little more perspective
Walisinha Harischandra’s The Sacred City of Anuradhapura, second edition, page 31, describes the tree as about thirty feet tall. That converts to 9.144 meters, with the precision still limited by the original approximate description. The surrounding text dates reconstruction work to 1907.
The source separately describes the raised mound as twenty-one feet high and identifies ten neighboring trees. This comparison includes only the sacred tree, from its own base to its crown; the mound, shrine, supporting structures and neighboring trees are excluded. The illustration interprets the branching form visible in the historical plate and is not a current survey or exact branch inventory.
