The endpoints span the complete falling-water sequence, including the upper steps and the larger lower drop into the gorge. The source describes the whole waterfall rather than a 32-meter single vertical wall.
The river descends upper steps before turning into its larger lower fall. The gorge continues downstream and reaches roughly seventy meters in depth, which is separate from the waterfall’s thirty-two-meter drop.
