A little more perspective

The Stalingrad Battle museum-reserve gives the sculpture’s total height with sword as 85 meters. This is the complete sculptural outline, rather than the woman’s head height or the surrounding memorial hill’s elevation.

The raised arm and sword create the upper endpoint, while the extended opposite arm creates much of the width. Both are preserved in the interpretive cutout. The hill and underground support structure do not become extra statue height.
