A little more perspective

The Skyscraper Center lists Tower 2 at 451.9 meters for both architectural and tip height. PETRONAS’s FLOW publication independently gives 451.9 meters for the twin towers. The baseline is the tower entrance level; neither the skybridge nor the adjoining tower adds vertical height.

Add Tower 1 beside Tower 2 to compare their equal published heights, then place Taipei 101 beside them: its 508-meter architectural top is 56.1 meters higher. The two Petronas entries share an interpretive tower illustration; fine facade and entrance differences are not represented.
