A little more perspective
Engineering contractor OPB lists 540.1 meters in the project’s height field and rounds it to 540 meters in the accompanying description. The catalog retains the explicit field value, without implying a new survey was performed on the review date.
The same account places the upper observation deck at 337 meters, far below the complete tip. At these values Ostankino is 13.23 meters lower than the catalog’s 553.33-meter CN Tower; comparison at equal scale makes their different lower-shaft shapes easier to separate.
