A little more perspective
The surviving height of about 138.5 meters is given in Pearson’s published teaching material. Egypt’s Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities describes the original structure at 146.5 meters, which answers a different historical question.
The illustration shows the weathered masonry core. A polished reconstruction with a complete apex would need its own measurement and record, rather than being stretched to the surviving height.
