A little more perspective
The FAA’s April 2023 launch-system description gives approximately 120 meters tall and nine meters in diameter. This dated reference selects the first integrated-flight configuration of Ship 24 and Booster 7. Later vehicle generations have different dimensions; the launch mount and tower contribute nothing to this height.
The full stack includes both Super Heavy and Starship. Measuring the upper spacecraft alone would omit most of the launch vehicle, while measuring from the base of the tower would add ground infrastructure. The selected 120-meter reference remains attached to April 2023 so later, taller designs do not silently change this comparison.
