A little more perspective
NASA’s comparison of Block 1 and Block 1B gives Block 1 as 322.4 feet, rounded to 98.3 meters, and the taller Block 1B crew design as 111.6 meters. The record uses the stated Block 1 value, even though that comparison appears on the Block 1B reference page.
The artwork keeps the shorter Block 1 upper assembly above the orange core. Launch-pad hardware, the mobile launcher, and exhaust are outside the measured vehicle. A later upper stage cannot be substituted while retaining this same height.
