A little more perspective
In ABC News’ 2018 interview with the Jurassic Park effects team, John Rosengrant gives the completed T. rex puppet’s dimensions as 36 feet long and 18 feet tall. This record selects its reported 10.9728-meter length as a named 1993 filming-model reference. It does not assign one fixed size to every later depiction of Rexy.
In the same interview, Matt Winston recalls the initial challenge as a 40-foot-long puppet. The selected figure follows Rosengrant’s description of the finished model. The cutout extends the complete creature from snout to tail; its stance and internal proportions are interpretive, and the separately reported 18-foot height is not imposed on this length comparison.
