A little more perspective

The 2018 Monarch Sciences promotional profile for Godzilla: King of the Monsters lists Mothra’s wingspan as 803 feet, equivalent to 244.7544 meters. The original profile screenshot is preserved in a July 19, 2018 article. This record selects the adult 2019 film design and the card’s explicitly named wingspan field.

The illustration spreads all four wings in one plane and calibrates the outer forewing tips horizontally. It does not convert that span into an upright height. The central body, legs and membrane details are interpretive.

Quick facts

The original Monarch promotional profile gives adult Mothra an 803-foot wingspan.
