A little more perspective

ILM’s official Kong: Skull Island project page describes Kong as 110 feet tall. The studio’s Jeff White also says about 100 feet in a 2017 VFX Voice interview. Warner Bros. Japan lists 31.6 meters under body length (体長). This record selects the explicitly height-labeled ILM value and preserves the differences; its conversion does not make the rounded source more precise.

The younger 2017 design stays separate from the later Godzilla vs. Kong incarnation. The scene uses an upright pose to show its selected vertical reference. It cannot establish a universal scale for every moving pose or individual film shot.

Quick facts

This 2017 Kong uses ILM’s 110-foot height description, about 33.5 meters. Other production sources give different rounded sizes, which remain attached to the reference.
