A little more perspective
NASA’s Mars Science Laboratory profile supplies a rounded 2.2-meter height alongside 7 feet. The scene selects the metric reference; those rounded descriptions are not exact conversions. With the wheels at a common ground level, the raised mast defines the top endpoint.
The illustration shows a complete rover with its arm kept below the mast. Changing the arm pose or tilting the vehicle on rough terrain can change the visible outline. Those configurations are separate from this level comparison, and the picture does not reproduce later wheel damage or dust accumulation.
Quick facts
NASA lists Curiosity at about 2.2 meters tall with its mast deployed. The reference runs from the wheel-contact level to the highest mast structure, not the height of its chassis.
For a presentation or a research note, include the subject, the measurement definition, and the assumed measurement. A picture alone cannot explain those choices. The comparison guide explains how to export an image and its source notes together.
Sources and measurement notes
The 2.2-meter reference includes the deployed mast, not just the rover body.
