How tall is Creeper?
A named idle pose lets the visible model be measured independently of its collision box.

A little more perspective
Mojang’s Bedrock samples at commit 736072450c26a7c67f07b1661f29d9a5ebaa14b1, dated August 23, 2026, define the selected geometry.creeper.v1.8 model. With zero movement speed, zero swelling, an uncharged state and a level head, its active animation transforms reduce to identity. The four feet begin at model y=0 and the head ends at y=26. Dividing by 16 model units per block and applying Minecraft Education’s one-meter-per-block immersion scale gives the derived 1.625-meter height. This is a specified model pose, not an official anatomical stature or the separate 1.8-block collision height.
The six visible cuboids comprise a head, body and four short legs. In this pose the feet establish one ground plane and the head’s upper face establishes the height endpoint. The view rotates only around the vertical axis, so it reveals a side face without changing that height. Swelling, head tilt, leg movement, the charged overlay and different resource packs can change the rendered outline and fall outside this comparison.
Quick facts
The idle Creeper model spans 26 model units, equivalent to 1.625 meters at Minecraft’s one-meter-per-block immersion scale.
