A little more perspective
Law 1.10 also sets the inside distance between the posts at 7.32 meters. These are two separate dimensions: the catalog’s vertical value is the 2.44-meter clearance. Goalpost and crossbar width and depth may not exceed 12 centimeters, so the overall frame height is greater than the clear opening.
